Inside Sales Representative (fluent in German)
Inside Sales Representatives primary task is to create demand in the market, contact and engage with end customers which involves cold calls as well, follows opportunities, quotes. The main objective is to build, prioritize, and promote profitable new business growth within the assigned region. Accurately manage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, POS budget vs. actuals, and flex the sales strategy to meet corporate KPIs and business objectives. Work closely with Program managers and Application Engineers to better identify customer needs and provide personalized solutions as well if needed.
In this position you will be:
- Liaise and establish trusted relationships with distributors and customers.
- Conduct cold calls, follow up on website leads in a timely manner.
- Identify opportunities within our product line portfolios.
- Be up to date on customer/ opportunity development and report to the management.
- Develop and maintain business relationships with customer executives and staff within key accounts and have a strong understanding of their customer base and market.
- Keep daily contact with PM, AE and other functional teams such as logistics and customer service.
- Identify and inform Program Management and Field Application Engineer on portfolio optimization issues, manage, and support cross-functional teams to develop product and service solutions.
- Execute sales price analysis, sales quote preparation and follow up with customers and or distributors.
- Daily follow up on outstanding quotes in order to secure RFE’s growth targets.
- Analyze POS, set actions and follow through on these actions.
- Prepare forecasts for defined House Accounts, obtain customer intelligence to adjust booked and revenue forecasts, and flex sales strategy to meet corporate objectives.
- Follow up of sample orders.
- Keep track on orders for business awarded using Forecast as guideline.
- Review scorecard results shared by customer and work proactive on performance improvements.
- Contribute to process improvement and demonstrate a proactive attitude.
- Support resolving customer enquiries and complaints in a satisfactory manner, help to coordinate actions in case of escalation process.
What will you bring?
- Preferably bachelor’s degree
- 1 - 5 years of experience in a commercial environment
- Business negotiation skills are essential and contract review experience is required.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with people at all levels of our internal and customer’s organization.
- Strong personality, collaborative nature, transparent, open minded and team player
- Native/fluent in German, excellent oral and written English skills any additional language is a plus.
- Radio Frequency - Interconnect, radio head end unit, automotive camera, antenna, and harness knowledge a plus
- Minimal travel required
What will you receive?
- Salary between €3,100 - €3,450 based on 40 hours
- 8% holiday allowance and bonus
