We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist with at least 2 years of relevant industry experience, focusing on vendor and contract management, to join our dynamic team in Amsterdam.

Job Description

As a Procurement Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to manage the full cycle of procurement activities, ensuring that all purchases of goods and services are cost-effective and of high quality, and that all contracts are managed effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle of procurement activities, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, purchase order placement, and supplier performance monitoring.
• Implement and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
• Regularly review and analyze supplier performance and contract compliance.
• Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with organizational needs and objectives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and advancements in the manufacturing industry to inform procurement strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement
• Proven experience in managing supplier contracts and understanding legal aspects of procurement.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Dutch fluency is a plus.
