We are currently seeking a Buyer with at least 4 years of relevant industry experience to join the team in Amsterdam. This role is central to maintaining efficient procurement operations and ensuring product availability.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality.
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and market suppliers.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
• Meet with suppliers and negotiate prices and terms of contracts.
• Liaise with supply chain teams and other staff to ensure procurement goals are met.
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a buying role withinn a similar role.
• Proficient in purchasing and supplier management software.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Dutch fluency is a plus.
