Procurement PMO

Our client is one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world, with eight $1 billion+ brands and global sales of approximately $25 billion. The client is a globally trusted producer of high-quality, great-tasting, and nutritious foods for over 150 years. Their brands are truly global, with products produced and marketed in over 40 countries. These beloved products include condiments and sauces, cheese and dairy, meals, meats, refreshment beverages, coffee, infant and nutrition products, and numerous other grocery products in a portfolio of more than 200 legacy and emerging brands.

In the role of Procurement PMO you will research how the company’s procurement of ingredients is affected by real-time situations (such as the war in Ukraine), and find solutions to problems that occur due to those situations.

About the role:

• This project-based role is exciting, challenging, and unique;
• You will find solutions for supply and supplier issues that arise due to real-time situations;
• You will own SOS projects within varying categories such as ingredients and packaging.
• You are responsible for executing sourcing projects to help drive cost reduction initiatives that meet the corporate goals for procurement;
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities for sophisticated projects through the development of project plans intended to accomplish tasks related to scope, schedule and budget.
• Working directly with business stakeholders to develop, execute, and track various procurement projects. Your main stakeholders are category leads and the head of procurement;
• Act as a subject matter expert in your categories of responsibility;
• Establish and maintain project plans;
• Communicate and report out on project progress: risks, current steps, next steps;
• Identifies standard methodologies and needed process improvements.

About you:

• Educated to a Bachelor/Master
• You have at least 7 years of relevant work experience;
• You must have experience in ingredients / raw material procurement with a spend of at least $75 million;
• You are able to work within sub sections of diverse categories;
• You see a challenge in project-based work as you will own SoS projects;
• You want to work in a large and international enterprise.
