Supply Chain Coordinator

For a large international company in Rotterdam, you will be operating in large-scale Supply Chain projects that impacts the core of our client’s operations. The company provides shipping services, marine products, maritime logistics and ships agency. The company mostly operates in the United States. As a Supply Coordinator you will be coordinating with other members of the Supply Chain including suppliers, vendors, shipping companies and warehouse managers to ensure all shipments are delivered on time. Tasks and responsibilities

• Creating reports on supply chain activities and performance, including purchase orders, inventory levels, shipment schedules, and production schedules
• Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and developing plans to mitigate these risks
• Communicate with vendors regarding order status or delivery issues to ensure smooth operation of supply chain
• Maintaining inventory levels by ordering materials needed for production
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as those pertaining to labelling and shipping times

Skills & Education

• A bachelor or Masters degree, preferably on the cross-section of technology/engineering and business/economics
• Excellent communicational skills, Dutch and English are a must a third language is a nice add on
• International experience, could be study, internship or work
• Able to identify and solve problems that may arise, not afraid to take thing two hands on
• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects at once

Our offer

• Salary between 2500 to 3500 gross a month based on experience and a 40 hours work week
