Warehouse Associate

Our client provides flexible supply chain solutions for today’s adaptive trial landscape. Their dedicated global staff manage 111000 drug product and biological sample shipments every month at all temperature ranges in more than 220 countries.

In this role you will receive and clean reusable packaging, and manage conditioning at the correct temperatures, dispatch and store consignments within the warehouse environment. You will ensure consignments are prepared within the timelines required. Additionally, complete all documentation required in a legible manner and returned to the relevant departments.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Operations Manager Amsterdam Branch, this person will be responsible for successfully supporting the warehouse function. This will include the daily coordination and monitoring of shipments, Local Service Providers and working with the Amsterdam office including Customer Service.
• Clean and condition any re-usable packaging required at the Amsterdam facility.
• Complete or obtain the correct paperwork.
• Turn shipments around within the timelines required.
• Responsible for monitoring temperature-controlled parts of the facility daily.
• Understand what information is required on a Retrieval note, MAWB and HAWB.
• All documentation must be completed accurately and legibly and passed to the correct departments.
• Support the Transport, Import and Export Operations by labelling and preparation of shipments for dispatch.
• Understand packaging configuration and preparation.
• Follow instructions as provided, including SOP’s and procedures as documented in ZenQMS.

Requirements:

• Experience in cool chain is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience communicating with clients
• Experience in the courier and/or freight industry
• Excellent command of the English language both written and spoken
• Forklift certificate preferred

• Salary between 2300 and 2800 based on previous experience
