Operations Coordinator Logistics

Our client provides flexible supply chain solutions for today's adaptive trial landscape. Their dedicated global staff manage 111000 drug product and biological sample shipments every month at all temperature ranges in more than 220 countries.

In this role you will provide an enhanced level of customer services and operational support. As a customer service Logistics specialist you will deal with shipment specifics and other service related issues.

Responsibilities:

• To monitor all inbound and outbound shipments on daily basis to ensure that shipments are delivered within agreed time frames
• To advise customers on daily basis of any services related issues (Customs detentions, eta flights/trucks).
• Working with customers on daily basis with the aim of developing an excellent working relationship
• Analysis of repetitive operational problems and development of possible service solutions
• Advise customer latest booking times and documentation required
• Inventory stock control and compliance
• Support/Arrange the Placement of durable packaging (Controlled temperature shippers & LN2 Dry shippers) and equipment (GPS tracking devices, Temperature monitors) and ensure that they are according to project specifications-COPs or SOPs
• Supplying customers with service information and potential customer information to be given to the Sales department
• Support Cell & Gene Lead with chain of custody and identity control through preparation and coordination of associated documentation or systems

Requirements:

• Someone that is stress resistance and can multitask in a high pace environment
• Several years' experience in a customer service, order management role with a focus on transport/logistics
• Experience with import/export and Incoterms
• Experience working with transportation carriers
• Pharmaceutical / medical / cold chain experience would be highly beneficial
• Fluency in English is a must and Dutch is desirable
