Customer Service Specialist Logistics

We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist Logistics in the are of Utrecht for one of the world’s largest designers, manufacturers and marketers of connectors and interconnect systems, antennas solutions, sensors and high-speed cable.

Our client provides flexible supply chain solutions for today’s adaptive trial landscape. In this role you will provide an enhanced level of logistics and operational support. As a Logistics Specialist you will deal with shipment specifics and other service-related issues.

Responsibilities:

• To monitor all inbound and outbound shipments on daily basis to ensure that shipments are delivered within agreed time frames.
• To advise customers on daily basis of any services related issues (Customs detentions, eta flights/trucks).
• Working with customers on daily basis with the aim of developing an excellent working relationship.
• Analysis of repetitive operational problems and development of possible service solutions.
• Advise customer latest booking times and documentation required.
• Inventory stock control and compliance
• Support/Arrange the Placement of durable packaging (Controlled temperature shippers & LN2 Dry shippers), equipment (GPS tracking devices, Temperature monitors) and ensure that are according to project specifications-COPs or SOPs
• Supplying customers with service information and potential customer information to be given to the Sales department.
• Support Cell & Gene Lead with chain of custody and identity control through preparation and coordination of associated documentation or systems

Requirements:

• Someone that is stress resistance and can multitask in a high pace environment
• Several years’ experience in a customer service, order management role with a focus on transport/logistics
• Experience with import/export and Incoterms
• Experience working with transportation carriers
• Pharmaceutical / medical / cold chain experience would be highly beneficial
• Fluency in English and Dutch both written and spoken is mandatory for this position
