Customer Service Specialist

For an international client in the Chemical industry, based in Rotterdam, we’re looking for an experienced Customer Service Specialist. You will be responsible for effectively executing the OTC (Order to Cash) and Order Management processes for customers. The main objectives are to provide “Best in Class” Customer Service and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and experience to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Management of various sales order types from all potential channels (including EDI, phone, mail etc.)
• Ensuring correct order entry, invoicing, replenishment and consignment inventory accuracy
• Management of electronic invoicing and providing documentation as requested by the customer
• Follow-up on any variances on the OTC process including credit notes and/or rebills
• Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Resolve customer requirements by clarifying customer feedback and complaints

Requirements:

• Vocational(+) or Bachelor Degree
• Several years of experience within customer services (B2B)
• Fluent in English and any other European language is essential (verbal and written), Dutch is beneficial
• Strong communicator and connector between different departments
• Pro active attitude and customer solution driven mentality
