Logistics Customer Service Representative

For the world leader in designing and manufacturing high-speed, high-density connection and backplane systems. They solve system design challenges with integrated interconnect solutions for application in the networking, communications, storage, and computer server markets. We are looking for someone to temporarily join the Sales & Operations team in Houten, Utrecht, where you will be joing a high-paced, ambitious group who also celebrate many occasions together.
In your role as Logistics Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for coordinating international from various factories to the warehouse in the Netherlands or direct to customers worldwide. Your responsibility for a variety of customer OEM/CEM accounts worldwide is also dependent on your familiarity with logistics practices and different modes of transportation. Additionally, you:
- Have functional knowledge of supply chain management, with the ability to problem-solve and work independently;
- Manage new and existing customer accounts to ensure on-time delivery;
- Handle expedites and reschedulings of requests from customers;
- Answer logistics related questions from customers;
- Communicate daily with other internal departments;
- Communicate with suppliers in Asia, Europe, and America;
- Monitor shipments and take corrective action to solve any issues that may occur;
- Process customer forecast in the ERP-system;
- Assist monthly revenue related reports;
- Will perform other duties assigned as the business deems necessary.
You will be a perfect match for this exciting role if you have:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft office and ERP systems;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed based on the needs of the customer and business;
- Excellent time management, organizational, typing and multi-tasking skills;
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service with a sense of urgency;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with rapidly changing priorities.
