AP Payment Specialist Are you looking for a new challenge as AP payments specialist? Are you ambitious and highly motivated? Would you like to work for one of the biggest international organizations in the Travel sector? Are you familiar with ERP systems? Do you want to work in Amsterdam? Then you are the candidate I am looking for! For a market leader in the travel industry, I am looking for a AP payments specialist. You would put your financial experience to good use by supporting the team on day to day operational activities, monitoring the payout process and identifying automation and improvement opportunities. You would be the first point of contact to the business for payment related queries. You would do this as part of a large multinational team in the state-of-the-art office in Amsterdam.
Responsibilities:
• Handling of daily operations in regard to the Payout process
• Processing payments in SAP and banking platforms
• Timely execution of urgent payment requests
• Complying with monthly, quarterly and yearly end close schedules
• Working with key stakeholders to investigate and solve errors within payments
• Completing bank statement reconciliations
• Identifying opportunities to improve the payout process through automation and optimalization
• Collaborating with specialists from procurement, I2P, T&E, Intercompany team to ensure alignment on process, knowledge and best practice implementation
Skills:
• 2+ years of relevant job experience in Finance
• Experience working with an ERP system
• Proficient in both spoken and written English
• Curious, flexible and adaptable to change
• Good prioritization skills and ability to work independently
• Motivation to work in a teamwork driven fast paced environment
Offer:
