About the Role: As a VAT Specialist, reporting directly to the Financial Manager, your role is pivotal in the company's financial operations. From maintaining and enhancing VAT Master data to actively participating in projects extending the business model, you'll play a key part in the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a focal point for VAT determination and reporting tools
• Maintain and enhance ICL VAT Master data and VAT determination capabilities
• Handle VAT filings and reconciliations for ICL entities within the European Head Quarter scope
• Support European Client Sales List reporting and Intrastat reporting
• Monitor and ensure adherence to the VAT filing schedule
• Align, guide, and train various departments within EU HQ and other sites on VAT regulations
• Contribute to the implementation of VAT tools within other ERP systems
• Perform assigned internal control/Sox activities
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks and projects

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting3+ years of working experience as a VAT specialist in a large multinational company
• Experience with VAT tools and a strong understanding of general and local EU VAT rules, Intrastat, and EC sales listing
• Advanced knowledge of front-end ERP systems, especially SAP and QAD
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Business-oriented, dedicated team player with a pragmatic approach
• Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills
• Eagerness, result-driven, and a natural problem solver
