Financial Administrator - Engineering

We are seeking a Financial Administrator with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance and at least 3 years of experience for an international company located in the Amsterdam region. Job Description: This leading company in the energy sector specializes in designing, developing, leasing, and operating advanced production and storage systems based on tankers. They are also renowned as a leading provider of innovative systems. You will be working within a Dutch department, and hybrid work arrangements are possible.

Your Responsibilities:

• Verification of incoming invoices.
• Recording invoices and initiating further verification and approval for payment.
• Preparation, processing, and recording of payments.
• Verification of bank statements and recording of cash receipts and expenditures.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Handling various accruals.
• Performing reconciliations.
• Preparing specifications as required to support the periodic financial closure of the accounting.
• Verifying invoices from external agencies with detailed timekeeping.
• Maintaining the timekeeping module in financial administration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with up to 3 years of experience in a similar role in an international environment.
• Fluent in both written and spoken Dutch and English.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
