Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Financial Controller with a solid background in accounting and a deep understanding of Dutch GAAP and/or IFRS. With a minimum of five years of experience in accounting and/or controlling within a mid-size to large corporate environment, you excel in optimizing the controlling function. Your structured and logical approach drives you to continuously improve and create efficient processes. Proficiency in both English and Dutch (written and verbal) is essential, with knowledge of French considered a plus.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain and enhance a robust commercial controlling framework to support business objectives.
• Analyze accounting ledgers, ensuring accurate recording of assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses.
• Review intercompany transactions and initiate invoicing when necessary.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and closing procedures.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Define and monitor accruals and provisions.
• Identify and evaluate commercial opportunities and financial risks.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Optimize and integrate administrative, sales, and financial processes.
• Further develop and integrate the ERP system (SAP S/4 HANA) and Power BI Dashboarding.
• Act as the primary point of contact for managers from other departments.
• Participate in internal and external audits.

Who You Are:
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Finance or a CPA certification.
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and controlling.
Preferably started their career at a prominent accounting firm (big four or mid-tier).
Strong accounting background with expertise in IFRS and Dutch GAAP.
Experience with ERP systems like SAP (Oracle, JDE, etc.).
Effective communication skills in English and Dutch (written and spoken), with French as a bonus.
