GL Accountant Would you like to be a part of a global finance team, based in Amsterdam, and contribute to the success of a leading men's fashion company? We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Junior GL Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to kickstart or advance your career in finance while assisting in the management of accounting processes for their organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing accounting tasks related to revenue, cost of goods sold, and payroll streams
- Day-to-day tasks and accurate month-end closing
- Structuring and prioritizing work to meet deadlines
- Active involvement in improving financial processes
- Addressing inquiries regarding financial processes from within the organization
- Ad-hoc projects to support the finance team
As a suitable candidate, you will have:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a master’s in finance (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of experience in financial administration, such as Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Natural curiosity and a team player mentality
- Fluent proficiency in both Dutch and English (both verbal and written)
