For an international organisation headquartered in Amsterdam, I am looking for an ambitious AP/AR Accountant. This company is active within the Fin-Tech industry. You will be working in a dynamic and innovative work environment. As an AP/AR Accountant you are responsible for the operational accounting activities for multiple entities of the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable and Account Receivables
• Registering accounting transactions
• Account reconciliations
• Supporting Financial Reporting with trade balances and intercompany reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner
• Bank reconciliations and other treasury related tasks
• Prepare and perform Dutch VAT (BTW) returns
• Support Finance Manager with ad hoc requests
• Assist Finance Team with period closures (such as year-end close)
• Dealing with disputes
• Manage outstanding balances of suppliers and customers

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, or related field
• Min. 2 years of experience in accounting / bookkeeping
• Knowledge SAP would be a plus
• Eager to continue learning and developing
• Flexible with continuous improvement mindset
• Hands-on experience with Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Job offer

• Monthly salary between € 3.000 and € 3.800 gross, excluding holiday allowance
