AP/AR Accountant SAP Are you looking for a new challenge as an AP/AR Accountant? Are you highly adaptable to new environments? For an international organisation headquartered in Amsterdam, I am looking for an ambitious AP/AR Accountant. This company is active within the Fin-Tech industry. You will be working in a dynamic and innovative work environment. As an AP/AR Accountant you are responsible for the operational accounting activities for multiple entities of the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable and Account Receivables
- Registering accounting transactions
- Account reconciliations
- Supporting Financial Reporting with trade balances and intercompany reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner
- Bank reconciliations and other treasury related tasks
- Prepare and perform Dutch VAT (BTW) returns
- Support Finance Manager with ad hoc requests
- Assist Finance Team with period closures (such as year-end close)
- Dealing with disputes
- Manage outstanding balances of suppliers and customers
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, or related field
- Min. 2 years of experience in accounting / bookkeeping
- Knowledge SAP would be a plus
- Eager to continue learning and developing
- Flexible with continuous improvement mindset
- Hands-on experience with Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Job offer
- Monthly salary between € 3.000 and € 3.800 gross, excluding holiday allowance
