Are you a finance professional with 1-2 years of experience looking for an exciting opportunity to advance your career? We have an excellent opportunity for a Junior Financial Controller to join a fast-growing tech company based in the vibrant city of Amsterdam.
For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Junior Financial Controller. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance team and other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.

Skills and education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of financial principles and accounting standards
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
Tasks and responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgeting, and forecasting
- Perform daily accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and invoice processing
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing
- Support in financial analysis and provide insights to management for decision making
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls
- Participate in ad hoc projects and assignments as needed
