Accounts Payable Accountant

For a profound International retail company in Amsterdam I am looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant. You will work within a team of internationals and will support the Accounts Payable Manager in managing the accounts payable. You will be responsible for Booking and controlling of the suppliers office.

Job Description

• Booking and control of suppliers invoices
• reviewing of analytical cost allocation of accounting items
• Cost analysis and re-invoicing to clients
• Relationship management with suppliers and clients
• Support to budget holder departments: Finance related matters, applications/programmes or training's
• Any other tasks ancillary to booking related with accounting systems
• Payment management
• Daily processing of invoices received
• Treatment of various problems arising from invoices and logistics shipments
• Creation and maintenance of supplier and client data
• Generation and control of monthly balance confirmations and reconciliation of client's confirmation
• Participation in periodical and extraordinary closing tasks as needed
• Document management
• Process implementation assistance

Skills & Education

• MBO+/HBO Bachelor Degree in related fields business / economics
• 3+ years’ experience in accounting / finance
• Experience in team and / or project management
• Previous experience in administration and / or back office services is a plus
• English at a professional level
• Dutch and / or Spanish is a plus
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Accuracy and attention to details
• Proactive attitude
• Very good communication skills - frequent contact with other departments, HQ and external parties
• Work both independently and in a cross-functional team
• Fast learner

Offer

• Between € 3.000,- and € 3.500,- monthly
• 32-40 hours available
