Accounts Payable Specialist

For a global consulting company headquartered in Amsterdam, we are looking for an ambitious Accounts payable specialist. You will be working in international and innovative work environment. As an Accounts payable Specialist you are responsible for the entire AP process of all the entities of the company.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Reconciling and booking of invoices in SAP
• Reconciling payments to invoices and managing payment suspense account
• Preparing and recording accounts payable related journals
• Ensuring that accounts payable sub-ledgers are up to date and reconcile to general ledger for all entities
• Assisting with the monthly closing
• Managing the internal control risks in AP process

Skills & Competencies:

• Bachelors degree, preferably in Finance or Business Administration.
• Relevant work experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist
• Experience with SAP
• Analytical, and good excel skills
• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills
• Self-starter, flexible and able to work under pressure
• No 9 to 5 mentality
