Robert Walters and Walters People again named “Best Workplace”

Recruitment organisation Robert Walters and its subsidiary Walters People are featured in the list of "Best Workplaces 2018". This list has been compiled based on empirical research done by Great Place to Work Netherlands. Every year, the highest-scoring organisations are honoured as Best Workplaces. The 2018 list was announced on Tuesday March 27th.

Great Place to Work surveys the levels of confidence, pride, and enjoyment within organisations. The list of Best Workplaces in the Netherlands is determined by employees' answers to a 58-statement questionnaire as well as an evaluation of workplace policy. Only organisations which achieve a high score on both parts of the research can hold the title ‘Best Workplace’ for a year.

In 2017, Robert Walters was ranked 17th on the list. This year they move up to the 14th spot. The organisation has implemented a range of improvements such as enabling working from home, providing organic breakfast and lunch and upgrading all facilities to increase employee satisfaction.

Rob Vermaak, Managing Director for Benelux: "As an organisation we want our employees to come into the office with a smile on their face, and for them to feel comfortable at work. We have put a lot of effort into achieving this in the past two years. We implemented changes in both our facilities and our staff policies based on our employees' feedback. The response to these changes has been hugely positive. Considering the tight labour market conditions we are currently facing, being a good employer is indispensable in order to attain and attract talent. We are very proud that we are listed as one of the best employers in the Netherlands.”
