Customer Service (Logistics)

For one of our clients we are looking for a Customer Service (Logistics) representative in Amsterdam. Do you have several years of experience in order management with a focus on logistics and transportation? Are you stress resistant and can you multitask in a high pace environment? Then you are the Customer Service (Logistics) we are looking for!

Responsibilities:

• You will monitor all inbound and outbound shipments on daily basis to ensure that shipments are delivered within agreed time frames
• You will advise customers on daily basis of any services related issues (Customs detentions, eta flights/trucks)
• You will be working with customers on daily basis with the aim of developing an excellent working relationship
• You will perform analysis of repetitive operational problems and work on the development of possible service solutions
• You will advise customer latest booking times and documentation required
• You will be booking shipment with use of clients booking system
• You will be supporting other departments – Customer Relationship Management/Transport/Operations and Sales
• You will be supplying customers with service information
• You will provide the sales department with customer information

Requirements:

• You are someone that is stress resistance and can multi task in a high pace environment
• You have several years’ experience in a customer service, order management with a focus on transport/logistics
• You have experience with import/export and Incoterms
• Experience working with transportation carriers
• Pharmaceutical / medical experience would be highly beneficial
• Fluency in English and Dutch both written and spoken is mandatory for this position
