IT Support Officer (Ducth speaking)

As an IT Support Officer you are responsible for the implementation, conception and operation of IT solutions on a functional & technical level, as well as enhancements of the existing local environment. Furthermore, you plan and implement Infrastructure IT projects, simplify, and optimize the working environment for the users.　You will also support the Global Helpdesk in their support to the end users and assist to triage/remediate opened tickets in the technical area, especially for recurring problems and cross-functional issues. Tasks and responsibilities

• Support the Global Help Desk in the 1st level support
• Support the Global Help Desk and Training team in coordinating and creating user manuals for new and updated services
• Support and optimization of the existing local server, storage, client and network environment
• Planning, installation operation and maintenance of Microsoft workstations and Windows server systems
• Work closely with all other Global IT teams and the IT global infrastructure service provider teams
• Simplification and optimization of the working environment for mobile users
• Coordinate/participate in Global, Regional or local projects
• Identify, analyse and resolve non-compliances for IT services in the business area

Skills and education

• Understanding of IT infrastructure and security architectures
• Knowledge and expertise in the area of Microsoft Client/Server operational systems and applications
• Service oriented thinking
• Handling of common software and platform technologies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of the English language fluently
• Planning, project coordination and problem-solving skills
• General IT operational experience, experience with working in international and distributed IT environments
• Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
