For an Chemical Manufacturing company in Ridderkerk I am currently looking for an experienced Customer Service Specialist, for the German market.

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing orders, resolving inquiries, and providing exceptional support. This position is both exciting and challenging, offering the opportunity to work in a diverse and multinational team.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Efficiently process and manage customer orders from start to finish
• Be the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring timely responses
• Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
• Resolve customer issues and complaints professionally and promptly
• Monitor and track shipments to proactively address delays or issues
• Support the Order to Cash process by working closely with Finance
• Contribute to process improvements for enhanced customer service
• Maintain organized records of customer interactions and transactions
• Adhere to company policies while keeping the customer at the center

Qualifications:

• Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken) - these are essential requirements
• Knowledge of logistics, including incoterms and shipment tracking
• Strong understanding of the Order to Cash process
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Knowledge of Dutch is a plus but not mandatory
