We are counting on you to:

• Work as a team with senior brokers, other Broking Assistants and the rest of the Benelux team in order to develop superior services to our clients
• Work on Clients (Insurers) portfolios and claims data, and structure them in a proper way for either processing through proprietary tools or for Reinsurance Renewals purposes
• Work on summaries, presentation and reports to internal and external clients
• Actively participate to the Reinsurance Renewal process, making good use of related Company tools
• Actively participate to market research and produce overview
• Manage reinsurance loss advices in collaboration with accounting team
• Proactively raise (potential) issues with clients or reinsurers to Management
• Be eager to learn and to further develop your technical and commercial skills
• Subject to the development of your technical skills, actively interact with clients and reinsurers

What you need to have to be an Broking Assistant:

• An expertise in managing Data via Excel, structuring them in a proper way and being able to interpret them
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, for establishing and maintaining excellent client relationships
• An interest for the insurance and/or financial sector / a general knowledge of business principles and (re)insurance industry trends
• Superior analytical, problem solving skills and attention to detail
• A strong ability to work within a team, while being autonomous and accountable for the work delegated to you
• A proactive mind-set : a desire and ability to contribute to internal initiatives and to bring projects to completion
• A desire to grow and further develop
• Fluency in English and Dutch (written and spoken)

What makes you stand out?

• An interest for the insurance and/or financial sector/a general knowledge of business principles and (re)insurance industry trends
• Prior knowledge or work experience in Insurance or Reinsurance sector (Underwriting, Data Office or Risk side)
• Commercial and negotiation skills
