Senior Accountant

Based in the Netherlands, RCI Financial Services Benelux operates in The Netherlands, in Belgium and in Luxembourg, is the main bank for Renault, Nissan, Dacia and Mitsubishi. This applies to both business and private financing, leasing, private lease and dealer financing.

Tasks & Responsibilities (Senior Accountant)

• Maintains and balances the general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Performs Month end closing by reconcile accounting aggregates in the general ledger with portfolio data from the Operational system.
• Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations as assigned, documenting and resolving discrepancies identified.
• Understand, integrate and align accounting processes with that of other departments i.e., Operations, Business control etc.
• Perform Internal control task as assigned i.e., documenting reconciliation control evidence for validation by the finance manager.
• Responsible for the cost of risk analysis and booking into the accounting system
• Responsible for booking the Monthly CIT monthly provisions.
• Perform reporting to the group and variance analysis.
• Participate in different projects as assigned.
• Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules reports.

What we are looking for

• HBO work and thinking level. Accounting certification is a plus.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and Group reporting
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in an International company
• Experience with ERP systems · Knowledge of system Exact is an advantage
• Command of the English language in word and writing. Dutch is a plus.
• Core competencies: independent, analytical, problem-solving ability, and a team player
