Fund Accountant

Our client is the Centre of Excellence for Pensions (CEP) focusing on servicing the European Pension Fund industry. This servicing is leveraging the Dutch Pension expertise, that is integrated in our client and is located in Amsterdam. The core service is securities administration, financial accounting and reporting. Added value services range from font office services like money market and currency hedging, to Risk Management. It is the ambition of the CEP to provide the International Pension Fund industry a one-stop-shop for front-to-back securitie. Accounting and controls for the portfolios/compartments of UCIs and/or mandates within the allotted times ("cut-offs") and in compliance with regulations in force, existing standards and procedures, quality requirements and obligations to communicate with portfolio managers, clients, depositaries/custodians and account keepers, and statutory auditors.

Your main activities:

• Control the uploading of operations (automatic interfacing) in the tools.

• Perform specific tasks (margin calls, deferred settlement, manual entries, non-interfaced operations, etc.).

• Handle payment schedules and corporate actions (CAs).

• Formalise (analyse, categorise, comment, remind) the processing of pending items (cash reconciliations, securities, liabilities, dividends, etc.) and controls of reconciliations carried out under the client architecture.

• Launch the calculation of valuations after verification of Top Repository receipt.

• Control, document/substantiate and make available the Net Asset Values or assets valued after fixed and variable Management Fees/performance bonuses.

• Make management/accounting reports available to clients depending on their architecture.

• Submit the contributions needed to prepare files for statutory auditors/external auditors or clients.

Your profile:

• Bachelor degree with 1-3 years of experience to assisgned area

• Experience and knowledge in Financial services.

• At least 1 to 3 years of experience and knowledge in the Asset Management and/or Pension Industry and with SimCorp Dimension.

• Accounting and Reconciliation knowledge.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English + Dutch
